Langston University
Reorganized its Licensing Program
The Langston University, Langston, Oklahoma - has re-launched its LICENSING
PROGRAM. The effective date of the new licensing program is August 15, 1997.
All previous LICENSE AGREEMENTS issued with AD VISOR, LTD., are no longer
valid. If your company has an agreement with our previous licensor, we
request that you cease and desist from selling any and all products bearing
Langston University’s name, trademark, tradename or logo(s).
In lieu of pursuing legal remedies, it is our desire to settle this matter
by accepting payment of damages. We are prepared to establish damages at our
normal royalty rate of seven (7) percent of the net sales price of any
merchandise sold and existing inventory you wish to sell out.
If your company is still interested in manufacturing items with the
institution’s trademarks, once this situation is resolved, we would be happy
to discuss your company becoming licensed.
