Position Title:  Activity Director/ Investigator 

Qualification:  Earned doctorate. Demonstrate ability to provide leadership in integrating computer technology into the curriculum and classroom. Commitment to faculty and staff development for training that they can create a suitable classroom environment for teaching and learning. Have ability to bring additional funds from different sources to enhance the availability of technology in CTI facility and the university as supplemental to Title III funds.

 

Ebrahim Soltani, Ph.D.

Position Title:  Web Based Trainer / Developer

Qualification:  Master’s Degree, Doctorate preferred, in Curriculum and Instruction with Instructional Technology emphasis.  Three years experience in college or university instruction, minimum.  Course building experience in online learning management systems (preferably D2L) is required.  Understanding of interactive multimedia, graphic design principles and web design is preferred.

 

Robert Overton

Position Title:  Distance Learning Coordinator

Qualification:  Master‘s in telecommunication are required. Demonstrate ability to provide supervision of several distance education sites. Established record of working effectively with faculty, staff and students in an administrative position is required.

 

William (Bill) Gaffney

Position Title:  Multimedia Specialist

Qualification:  Master‘s degree in computer education technology or related field is required. Have experience and ability to assist faculty in the design, development, and assessment of instructional projects. Participate in the development and implementation of distance learning initiatives; assist faculty in adapting existing courses to web-based or interactive video environments; conduct workshops to promote the use of technology in education; train faculty in production of multimedia, authoring language, graphics, teleconferencing and video production, and produce multimedia instructional materials for on campus and distance teaching and learning environment.

 

 

Position Title:  Administrative Specialist

Qualification:  Associate degree required. A bachelor’s degree in business or education fields is Preferable. Three years experience in administrative office setting. Basic knowledge of digital media, digital portfolio resources, Photoshop, Microsoft Office and talking knowledge of electronic and multimedia presentation are required.

 

Debbie Lafollette

Position Title: Under-Graduate Students

Qualification: Two under graduate student assistants trained in the use of various technologies will assist the project director and trainers in helping faculty. They will also give technology presentation to students to promote computer literacy among students.
