Langston University makes this Internet platform and website available to members of the Langston University community, but does not necessarily endorse any of the items published through this service. We reserve the right to refuse to serve the documents of any user or group making inappropriate or unreasonable use of this service. The appropriateness of use will be determined by the staff maintaining the server, who will make that determination based on Policies, Standards, and Guidelines in the LU Web Developers & Users Policy Guide as well as issues of resource allocation.

Some examples of inappropriate or unreasonable use:

•  providing copyrighted materials without authorization

•  providing obscene or offensive materials

•  providing any materials for commercial gain

•  being compensated for providing materials for any party not entitled to utilize Langston University resources

•  providing materials whose nature or volume compromises the ability of the server to serve other users' documents

Users notified of inappropriate usage who fail to correct the situation can lose their web service and potentially all computing privileges. This service is not actively monitored for content, however, so please send reports of inappropriate use to the University's Web Administrator at webmaster@lunet.edu
