Langston University Financial Aid Office

MISSION STATEMENT

The Office of Financial Aid at Langston University is committed to assuring that Langston students receive all the financial assistance for which they are eligible in a timely and courteous manner. The office strives to provide the information needed and the help necessary to successfully undertake and complete the application process

Because higher education is becoming more and more expensive, it is our job to let you know what financial assistance is available and how to go about getting it.

BEGINNING THE PROCESS

Before we can determine what financial aid you are eligible to receive, you must complete the FREE APPLICATION for STUDENT AID(FAFSA). The FAFSA is available at our office and from your high school counselor. You must also be admitted to LU in a degree program before we can award your aid.

The FAFSA enables us to determine your eligibility for the following programs:

  • Federal Pell Grant Federal Supplemental Educational Grant (SEOG)
  • Oklahoma Tuition Aid Grant (OTAG)
  • Federal Work Study (Student Employment)
  • Subsidized and Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loan

Information on the application procedure for the Federal Plus Loan and the Subsidized and Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loan may be obtained through the LU Financial Aid Office
