Student Support Services Program is a federally-funded "TRiO Program " with the primary purpose of providing services that aid in the retention of students until graduation from college (Langston University). These services include academic and personal counseling, career assessment and exploration, basic skills assessment and tutoring, general enrichment and support to build positive self-esteem and leadership development.

 

The program provides educational support to increase retention rates and over come financial, social, academic and cultural barriers to higher education.

 

The Langston University Student Support Services Program has been present on this campus since 1965 and has been very instrumental in the development and graduation of many students. In this stride of excellence we continue to prepare students to successfully compete with their colleagues from other institutions upon graduation.
