Mission for SOEA
The Student Oklahoma Education Association mission for this school year includes promotion of professional development activities for students majoring in education. The activities for this school year include a voter registration drive in 2008, tutoring activities, attendance at the SOEA October conference, and attendance at the NEA Student SOEA Conference in Louisville, KY. The SOEA will buy a banner for Academy Central Elementary School’s College Hall. In addition to attending conventions and conferences, Langston-Tulsa SOEA members hold monthly meetings and participate in fundraising projects. Dr. Sharlene Johnson is the faculty advisor
